Fernandina Beach FL

Fernandina Beach FL Community Information

As the county seat for Nassau County, Fernandina Beach is located on the Amelia Island. The Timucuan Indians were the first ones who inhabited the area. Referred to as the Isle of 8 Flags, it has boasted a number of flags from different nations dating back from 1562. This is the only municipality within the country that has flown over eight different flags. With a population of more than 11,000 people, the area continues to grow and flourish into the bustling town that it is today. Enjoy taking in the spectacular views as you walk along the waterways in this beautiful town.
